Overview

Set during the Spanish Civil War, the powerful drama explores the fight for freedom during the anarchist uprising through the eyes of a young seminarian faced with a choice between love or death. Based on the incredible true story of Esteban Casadevall and his young colleagues as they witness the first salvos against Franco in their hometown, Forbidden God reveals the depth of the human spirit in war, romance, and political upheaval.
