He wants to find out what changes the world of South Africa has experienced 25 years after the fall of apartheid. Has the dream of a multicultural community, called Rainbow Nation by Nelson Mandela, come true? Do Africans live in harmony with the indigenous South Africans? Has the much heralded equality survived? What traces of post-apartheid can be found in the socio-political mood of South Africa? By learning about the country, he will try to understand its complicated history and provide an insight into the current situation facing South Africans.
